Sofia Vergara Celebrates her 40th Birthday in Mexico

Latin Bombshell Sofia Vergara will turn the big 4-0 on July 10^th, but is celebrating early by jetsetting to Mexico for a week full of birthday fiestas.

The "Modern Family" actress is accompanied by her son, Manolo, and beau Nick Loeb. The Trio will be lounging at the Rosewood Mayakoba spa resort in the Riviera Maya.

Vergara and Loeb, who was recently reported to have been on the rocks, went sightseeing, visiting the Fort San Miguel in Campeche. An eyewitness reported that the two, "...were holding hands, they looked really cute."

The birthday girl seems to be having a carefree time thus far, she posted a picture of an immaculate dinner plate, which we assumed she licked clean, along with a Sofia-Esque bobblehead figurine."I have my own bubble head! The exotic beauty tweeted, "Gracias Chi."

According to an unspecified source, Vergara wants "...to have a big party with her nearest and dearest. She's determined to celebrate in style." Considering that her family is probably plane bound, and headed towards Mexico, it looks like she's going to get her wish.

Vergara asks that her fans donate to her charity "Dreams Without Borders," via giftiki, in lieu of sending presents.
