Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi Welcomes Baby Boy Lorenzo LaValle, Will We See A More Mature Snook?

Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, 24, gave birth to baby boy Lorenzo LaValle, on Sunday, at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, N.J. Weighing a healthy 6 lbs, 5 oz, baby and mommy are reportedly doing well.

"Thank you all for your love and support!! Lorenzo loves you guys already!" Snooki wrote on her Twitter page Sunday afternoon.

Dad Jionni LaValle seemed nostalgic but also thrilled about the future with his new son. "ill never forget old high school memories or the vacations I been on with my boys," he wrote . "I will also never forget 8/26/12 the day my son was born!"

Snooki received a storm of heartfelt messages from her Twitter followers, most from her "Jersey Shore" co-stars.

 Kendra Wilkinson, tweeted: "Yayyyy CONGRATS @snooki. Sooo happy for you. Can't wait to see pics of Lorenzo!!!" To which Snooki replied: "Thanks girl I LOVE him!!"

"I Love It This Time A Yearrr When Baby Lorenzo's Here !!!!! Congrats @snooki And @JLaValle !!! #BabyBlowout," Paul "DJ Pauly D" DelVecchio wrote.

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino chimed in: "Congrats to Nicole and jionni on their healthy baby boy! All the best!"

Snook's bosom buddy Jenni "JWoww" Farley, concluded the congratulatory tweets. "So proud of @snooki and @JLaValle! Lorenzo is the cutest baby I ever seen. Love him already." Snooki replied: "Aw thank you auntie!"

The big question remains, will Snooki retire her wild ways now that baby Lorenzo is here? Stranger things have happened. Snook may happily trade in nights out on the town with nights filled with coos and sweet lullabies. We'll just have to continue watching her MTV spinoff, "Snooki & Jwoww," which premiered June 21, to see what happens.

"I guess [pregnancy] just made me more mature," Snook said while pregnant. "It's different because now I'm not drinking. I'm usually partying and going to clubs, but pregnancy made me grow up a lot."
