Kanye West Gives Kim Kardashian And Her Closet A Makeover: Has He Crossed The Line?

Sunday's episode of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" was a real eye-opener, and quite disturbing to watch - although, the latter is our personal opinion.

Kim Kardashian, 31, who has been dating outspoken rapper, Kanye West, 35, has been looking less mainstream lately -- swapping her leather -- print leggings, and ghetto-fabulous skyscraper heels for more haute-fashion attire. We suspected her fashion snob boyfriend was behind the sartorial overhaul and last night's episode confirmed our suspicions.

We watched as West raided Kim's immense closet, only allowing her to keep what he deemed appropriate to his haughty high-fashion palate. Many news outlet have since come to the reality starlet's defense, referring to the lyricist as a "controlling" boyfriend.

Entertainment Wise said: "When Kanye tries to help her by throwing away a handbag, she hastily pleads: 'No! I need this.' The rapper is not impressed, hitting back: 'Oh, hell no!' We'd be offended... wouldn't you?"

"[T]hough Kanye seems to adore Kim, he also appears to be controlling her," reported the Huffington Post. "Making your partner change his or her personal style is huge red flag, and the warning signs don't stop there."

According to the Jezebel website "[U]pon reviewing his cameos on this season of the show, every single scene he is in-or even whenever he is being spoken about-he is reshaping Kim's aesthetic, from her clothing to her car to the angle of her ponytail."

Kim is also none too pleased with West's controlling ways, "I think it's so ironic that I'm always giving my friends their closet makeovers, so for the roles to be reversed, it's like, Oh my God." She said in a scene -- if only she could have mustered the courage to express her disapproval in a more direct manner.

Younger sister Khloe wasn't jumping for joy, either. Later in the episode, she was flabbergasted at the amount of fancy accoutrement her sister was willing to trash at West's command --  she was especially miffed about a pair of furry boots, which West deemed "too ghetto" - in which Khloe quipped, "You gotta have a little ghetto in your life!" that Khloe.
