At Tuesday night's Democratic National Convention, Michelle Obama reminded America of why we first fell in love with President Barack Obama. We may not be as passionate about the First Family like we were four years ago or as willing to believe in "change," but the First Lady certainly accomplished her mission last night - which is to tell us President Obama deserves a second term because like everyday Americans, he understands what it's like to struggle, firsthand.

"I have seen firsthand that being president doesn't change who you are, it reveals who you are," the First Lady announced to her loyal democratic fans on Tuesday night.

Further tugging at our heart strings, Mrs. Obama painted her husband as the man who drove a car so rusted that she could see the pavement through a hole in the passenger side door during their earlier dates and whose prize possession was a coffee table he rescued from the trash.

"These issues aren't political" for him, she said of the president. "They're personal."

"Barack knows what it means when a family struggles," continued the self described mom-in-chief." "He knows what it means to want something more for your kids and grandkids."

Although Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, was absent from the First Lady's speech,  she drew a subtle yet clear contrast between both parties, saying "that how hard you work matters more than how much you make, that helping others means more than just getting ahead yourself."

Adding yet another subtle dig, she said president Obama "believes that when you've worked hard and done well, and walked through that doorway of opportunity, you do not slam it shut behind you."

Mrs. Obama's speech wasn't all that different from her speeches four years ago, she spoke of her father who hardly missed a day's work despite suffering from Multiple Sclerosis, past struggles to pay the bills and college tuition debts, but the difference is -- she is no longer an outsider looking in.

She knows change is a slow process and invites us once more to give President Obama, the man often "hunched over his desk" several nights thinking about our personal problems yet another chance to take our country further.

"When it comes to rebuilding our economy, Barack is thinking about folks like my dad and his grandmother." She said.

We all agree Mrs. Obama's speech at last night's Democratic Convention can only help president Obama in the race but if fashion were a determining factor, He would be a shoo in for another term

The first Lady looked simply divine, don't you agree?

She glided onto the stage, as confident as ever, wearing a pink and blue brocade Tracy Reese dress which showcased her signature toned arms - and paired it with "Everly" suede J. Crew pumps, elegant earrings and her illustrious locks.

"Thanks everyone for sharing this amazing moment," Reese tweeted. "We are all so grateful and honored to have dressed Mrs. Obama for such a momentous speech!!"
