Miley Cyrus Faces Criminal Battery Charges After Nightclub Brawl [Report]

Miley Cyrus is making headlines once again. According to gossip website TMZ, the pop star is allegedly a suspect in a criminal battery charge stemming from an incident that occurred inside a Hollywood nightclub/theater on Saturday.

According to police reports, the victim is claiming that he along with a few friends were seated behind Cyrus' fiance, actor Liam Hemsworth , at Beacher's Madhouse at the Roosevelt Hotel Sunday morning when things took a turn for the worse.

Apparently, the victim bumped into Hemsworth chair and when words were exchanged, Cyrus attempted to play mediator by jumping between the two parties - but not before pushing the man away and striking  him in the face - no serious injuries were reported.

A witness told the publication, " ... he saw the argument but Miley never threw a punch."

Just recently, authorities responded to a call about an intruder hiding in Cyrus' bushes in her Studio City home. Police officers claimed the man, whose name is Jason Luis Rivera, was apprehended holding a pair of scissors and is being held on suspicion of burglary.

During his arrest, Rivera shouted: "I am a friend of Miley Cyrus. I am. She's my wife. Me and Miley have been friends for five years." Cyrus was not home at the time of the incident.

The starlet revealed her new platinum do' not too long ago and faced a series of backlash from fans.  Of course, she immediately took to twitter to defend her haircut - which coincidently has been the inspiration for many imitators - actress Lea Dunham recently pulled a Miley by chopping off her brunette locks.

"My dad @billyraycyrus used to tell me 'opinions are like a** holes every body has one,' " Cyrus tweeted to naysayers. "LOVE my hair <3 feel so happy, pretty, and free."

She also let everyone know that the only opinion that matters is her fiancé's. "He loves [my haircut]," she continued. "Last night he said I look the happiest he's seen me in a while :) he likes seeing my eyes more."
