Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer welcomed twins.

According to the Associated Press, the couple's rep only confirmed that the twins were born prematurely, details of their gender, and names have yet to be announced.

"We can confirm that Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer recently welcomed their twins into the world," the reps said in a statement to People magazine."The babies were born a few weeks early but are in good health and both Mom and Dad are overjoyed."

Moyer already has two children, daughter Lilac, 10, and son Billy, 12 from previous relationships. The twins are Paquin's first offsprings.

Paquin -- who co-stars with husband Moyer in the popular HBO series "True Blood" isn't the least bit shy about shooting her lusty sex scenes with her towering, hunky cast mate, Alexander Skarsgard.

"We feel completely comfortable together," Paquin told Redbook in an interview for their August issue. "Steve and Alex are buddies. It's nothing like, 'Oh, hi, nice to meet you. Now take off your clothes and go into the fog.' Everyone is respectful of each other's boundaries ... They're all very gentlemanly about it."

The Oscar-winner -- who admits to being her "hardest critic," used her feminine wiles to land the coveted role of Sookie Stackhouse.

"I went out and bought some incredibly short shorts and a push-up bra. ... It's not that I'm a prude, but I'm not a massive exhibitionist, either,"  she revealed. All in all, her method was "Fake it to make it."

Of her parenting style, she said, "I have a side that's very nesty. And another that thinks, 'Let's lock up the house and go away for five months.' "

In 2010, Paquin revealed she is a bisexual in a PSA campaign for "Give A Damn" - which features celebrities standing up for equality. "Frankly, no one had ever asked me before. My sexuality is something I'm completely comfortable with and open about," she said. "Who people choose to sleep with - or spend their lives with - shouldn't matter."
