Emma Watson On The In ‘The Bling Ring’: 'I Hate Myself In The Movie'

Emma Watson is just one of those actresses who can't stand to watch their performance on the big screen. The 22-year-old recently wrapped shooting for Sofia Coppola's movie, "The Bling Ring," where she landed the leading role of  bad girl Nicki, a young woman who burgled a series of A-Listers homes, ranging from Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan to Orlando Bloom.

You'd think the "Harry Potter" actress would be excited to see herself in a role other than the intellectual Hermione Granger but the very thought of it leaves her cringing. She told MTV News, "This is how much I hate myself in the movie: I don't think I'm going to be able to watch it. It's the first time I couldn't watch myself...

Nicki is definitely a stretch from the charming Brit's wholesome image." She wears Lolita-inspired duds like midriff baring shirts, short shorts, and leather minis -- which Watson wasn't too impressed with while filming.

I also want to point out on my lower back, I have an Om Buddha sign, like a tramp stamp. It was really weird," she added.

All in all Watson seems very lucky to be doing what she loves and admits stepping out of character is one of the greatest perks of her job.

"This is what's so awesome about my job, is that I had to get into the shoes of someone I couldn't relate to. I've never had to do that before, but by the end of it, I don't know, it was really interesting getting into this girl's head. She represents a lot of what I basically stand against. It was really fascinating to break it down, and be like, 'What is this actually about?' It made me like my job a lot."

Watson prefers to live in her native London and finds life in Los Angeles utterly draining. "L.A. scares the crap out of me," she told Harper's Bazaar UK. "I feel if I have to work out four hours a day, and count the calories of everything I put in my mouth, and have Botox at 22, and obsess about how I look the whole time, I will go mad. I will absolutely lose it."
