Ryan Gosling Appears Beat Up In New Poster For 'Only God Forgives [PHOTO]

The new Ryan Gosling poster was released today, and the "Only God Forgives" actor appears in rough shape in the movie poster. The Ryan Gosling poster features the actor sporting a swollen eye and looking battered and bruised.

For the movie, Gosling plays a boxer and crime lord who runs a gym and must find out who killed his brother. The Ryan Gosling poster makes it clear that he'll face some issues as he travels down that path.

Gosling had to learn Muay Thai boxing for his role in "Only God Forgives," and it seems as though he'll have to make use of it throughout the movie. "Only God Forgives" is slated for release in 2013. The movie also stars Kristin Scott Thomas and Tom Burke.

Gosling will also appear in the movies "Gangster Squad" and "The Place Beyond the Pines," both slated for release in 2013 as well.
