Remember Evangeline Lilly's long dark locks from her "Lost" days? Well they are long gone! The actress showed off a drastically different hair 'do at the New Zealand premiere of "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey."
The 33-year-old actress is best known for her role as Kate on the former ABC series "lost." Keeping her dark brown hair the same mid back length since the show began in 2004, many were shocked to see her style.
On the red carpet Evangeline Lilly was almost unrecognizable with a short new shaggy cut with chunky blonde streaks. While Lilly's new hair is definitely something to get used to, fans cannot deny that that the actress looked stunning in a long sleeve pink sequence mini dress.
Evangeline Lilly will star as Tauriel in the following two "Hobbit" movies, "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" and "The Hobbit: There and Back Again."
The actress joins a long list of Hollywood women who have decided to chop off their locks for a shorter style. This past June Charlize Theron was spotted with a shaved head. Anne Hathaway has been rockin' a short cut since her role in "Les Miserables." And as everyone knows, Miley Cyrus got a close-cropped pixie haircut in August.
