'General Hosptial' Stars Kirsten Storms and Brandon Barash Wedding Details [PHOTO]

Kirsten Storms and Brandon Barash provided new details about their surprise June elopement to PEOPLE in an article published Aug. 24.

Storms, who plays Maxie on General Hospital, and her former co-star Barash, shocked their fans last week. They admitted to being secretly married and expecting their first child. The couple are expecting a girl in January.

"We talked about wanting to have kids and Kirsten was told she could try hormone therapy. It was pretty bleak as far as the probability of her being able to get pregnant ... but then we got back from a trip to Amsterdam and discovered we were expecting. We calculated that we conceived the baby in [GH star] Tony Geary's guest room!" he said.

Barash explained how he and his 29-year-old bride decided to tie the knot after a doctor's appointment. They planned an impromptu wedding at Caesar's Palace. There were 10 members of their loved ones in a Las Vegas chapel.

"After the ceremony, we shared an impeccable meal with our loved ones at Il Mulino, our favorite restaurant, and spent the night playing roulette," Barash said.

"Again, we felt the universe on our sides as we hit the numbers of Lil B's due date and our newly established wedding anniversary repeatedly on the roulette table. It was magic, and we wouldn't have had it any other way."
