Mariah Carey Announces New Single, 'The Art Of Letting Go'

Mariah Carey has announced her new single, The Art of Letting Go, Billboard reported Monday.

Carey took to Facebook on Monday and informed her fans on the update to her album. She announced that the single, The Art of Letting Go, will premiere on Nov. 11 at 11:00 a.m. ET. It will be the follow up single to #Beautiful which peaked at #15 on Hot 100.

"This song is so personal to me and I'm very excited to share this experience with you in such an intimate way," Carey wrote on Facebook. "'I can't even know what to say'!!! We're less than a month away and I can't wait to answer all your questions and share this experience with you."

On Oct. 11, the Grammy winner took to Facebook and updated her fans about her healing.  She dislocated her shoulder in July. She was forced to scuttle plans on her forthcoming album. She also called her upcoming album one of the most important that she's done in life.

"There's a lot of excitement that I'm going to reveal to you very soon, and sooner than you know it, you're going to understand why but more than that, you're going to feel what I've been feeling for the past- not three months- but three years.

This is, to me, one of the most important albums I've ever made in my life. If you're a lamb, a fan, or just a human being that needs to feel good, happy, sad, miserable, joyous... "I gotcha" (said like Roc- you haven't heard how he says it yet but you will soon, it's a complete+total classic!)"
