Chris Brown Arrested for Felony Assault [PHOTO]

Chris Brown was arrested for felony assault over the weekend, TMZ reported.

Brown was involved in an altercation around 4:30 a.m. on Oct. 27 in Washington, D.C. Allegedly, Brown was outside the W Hotel on K Street and was about to take a picture with two female fans. It was then that two men attempted to photo bomb and Brown responded with a punch to the face to one of the men. The man in question never threw a punch according to source.

The alleged victim told the site that he and friend were hanging around the hotel and saw Brown with his two friends. He claimed not to be a fan but decided to interrupt the picture. It was then that Brown allegedly lost it and punched him and broke his nose.  He may need surgery. The man also alleged that Brown directed a homophobic slur at him.

"I'm not into this gay s**t, I'm into boxing," Brown allegedly said.

Sources close to Brown told a different story. His camp claimed that the man in question was trying to sneak his way onto Brown's tour bus.

Brown reacted in a self defense posture but the victim is sticking to his story. He is also intent on pressing charges and has hired an attorney.

If Brown is convicted, he may be sentenced to four years in prison given that he is still on probation. In 2009, he beat former girlfriend Rihanna and was sentenced to probation and community service on the condition that he abide by all laws. Brown is still in custody.
