Chris Hemsworth's Wife Elsa Pataky Debuts Baby Bump

Elsa Pataky showed off her baby bump for the first time during a family outing on the island of La Gomera in Spain on Thursday, Nov. 18, Us Weekly reported.

Hemsworth has been in Spain where he is filming his new movie In The Heart Of The Sea.  

The Thor star's wife was casually dressed in a colorful jumper, black trousers as well as comfortable shoes.  She wore her platinum blonde pixie hairdo in a wavy style and kept her make-up to a minimum.  She glowed as she showed off her bump in the sun.  The couple's 18-month-old daughter India was with them in a little pink hat, a stripe top and grey shorts.

Meanwhile, Hemsworth looked lean and wore black shorts, matching sneakers with bright red laces, a grey low-cut singlet top, pale red hoodie and a hat. The Thor actor said to Jimmy Kimmel that he is currently at the 500 or 600 calories a day diet in order to slim down for the film where he plays a sailor.

However, the trip has been far from a smooth one. The family was involved in a dramatic rescue at sea by the coastguards after they ran into danger off the coast of the island. They were aboard a private catamaran when it ran aground. A lifeboat, patrol boat and helicopter were sent to help. Fortunately, no one was hurt during the incident.

"Any kind of rescue at sea is a scary event, especially for a pregnant woman with a young child," one witness said at the time.

Hemsworth's representative confirmed to Us Weekly on November 20 that Pataky and Hemsworth were expecting their second child together. The actress is said to be three months along. The couple has been married for three years.
