Grammys Nominations 2014: Jay Z Leads With 9, Justin Timberlake, Taylor Swift and Lorde nominated

The 56th Grammy nominations were announced on Friday and Jay Z led the pack with 7, The Huffington Post reported.

After the Holy Grail rapper, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell Williams and Justin Timberlake received seven nominations. However, Timberlake did not receive a nomination for Album of the Year for his critically acclaimed album, The 20/20 Experience. Lorde, who received three noms, did not receive a nomination for Best New Artist but she will be in contention for Record and Song of the Year for Royals.
