Taylor Swift Boyfriend News Update: 'Strange Personality' Is Keeping Her From Scoring Dates?

Taylor Swift has reportedly taken a hiatus from dating.

After becoming infamous for getting over heartbreak by writing songs, Swift has sent men running, and now, she's been advised against dating all together.

“Taylor’s advisers are tired of setting her up on dates only to have her strange personality scare men away,” a source revealed to Radar Online. “Taylor is almost impossible to find dates for because of the nature of her music, which focuses heavily on heartbreak and ex-boyfriends."

Although Swift hasn't been spotted on many dates lately, there were a couple of years where she appeared to be dating nearly non-stop, with all of her relationships ending in sadness and song.

From 2008-2013, Swift was linked to several famous men, including Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner, Cory Monteith, John Mayer, Jake Gyllenhaal, Chord Overstreet, Garrett Hedlund, Conor Kennedy, and Harry Styles -- to name a few.

Also during that time, Swift penned several breakup tracks including “I Knew You Were Trouble,” reportedly written about Mayer, and “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” which was said to have been written about Gyllenhaal.

"None of the guys she shows interest in want to be the subject of a mean song six months down the road or be painted the bad guy, so Taylor’s team want her to take a break from boys," the source explained. "They hope she will focus on building some strong female friendships and use that as an inspiration for the next phase of her career."
