Olivia Wilde Gives Birth To Baby Boy Otis, Shares First Photo On Twitter

Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis have welcomed their first child.

This week, Wilde gave birth to a baby boy, and on Wednesday, she took to Twitter where she revealed the child's first photo to her many fans.

"Ladies and gentlemen, Otis Alexander Sudeikis has LEFT the building!" Wilde wrote just before 7 p.m. on April 23, also confirming, "I'm the building." Along with the post was a photo of mom and baby with Otis' head pressed up against Wilde's cheek.

Wilde and Sudeikis' baby news was confirmed in Oct. 2013, two years after the pair began dating (after meeting on the season finale of Saturday Night Live in 2011) and nine months after they became engaged. Then, at January's Golden Globes, Wilde confirmed her due date of May 4, telling Ryan Seacrest, "May the fourth be with you," in a nod to one of her favorite films, Star Wars.

Just prior to the birth, Wilde spoke to Lucky Magazine about how her outlook on life has changed since she became pregnant.

"Pregnancy does shed away all of the bulls--t. It gives you more empathy because you look at everyone and you think, 'You were a baby!'" she told the magazine for its May 2014 issue. "It also makes you feel closer to other females. Pregnancy brings you into this sort of commune-you feel connected to women in a way that you never have."

This is the first child for Wilde and Sudeikis.
