Ramona Singer is reportedly the only woman standing following a major cast change to The Real Housewives of New York City.

According to a new report, Bravo has decided to revamp the cast after a lackluster sixth season, in which the ratings have continued to plummet. Although there were discussions about possibly canceling the series, the network simply isn't ready to have such a major city disappear from its Real Housewives franchise.

“Bravo doesn’t want to cancel the series because New York is the unofficial capital of the United States,” an insider told Radar Online. “The amount of wealth concentrated into such a small area makes it a major draw.”

On March 11, the sixth season of The Real Housewives of New York City premiered and by the 10th episode, the ratings were on the decline. During episode 10, the show captured 1.42 million viewers. In the episodes that followed, there was a clear ratings decline, and by episode 15, ratings had dropped to an all-time low of 1.01 million.

Although season five featured several intense feuds, one of which involved Singer tossing a plastic cup in the face of new housewife Kristen Taekman, viewers are simply losing interest, which has reportedly led Bravo to do something drastic.

“The entire current cast, including Sonja Morgan, Heather Thomas, Luann de Lesseps, and Carole Radzwill are all expected to get pinks slips,” the source said. “Ramona will most likely be offered a contract to come back, and Aviva Drescher could be offered a much smaller role, of series guest star.”

In other Real Housewives of New York City news, Drescher's father, George Teichen, has reportedly landed a spinoff with his fiance, Dana Lavette Cody. The pair is said to be working with Bravo on a special that would follow their journey down the aisle.
