Chris Brown Dumped: Karrueche Tran Breaks Up With Singer Following Instagram Butt Photo

Chris Brown has split from his on-again, off-again girlfriend, Karrueche Tran.

Following Brown's release from prison last month, he and Tran were going strong, but weeks later, after the singer posted a photo of Tran's butt on Instagram, the pair has parted ways.

“Karrueche and Chris are done,” a source confirmed, via Life & Style, on July 9. “They’re not speaking.”

Brown and Tran began dating in 2011, but within months, the pair was reportedly on the outs over Brown's communication with former girlfriend Rihanna. In Oct. 2012, Brown officially ended things with Tran, explaining to fans that he didn't want to hurt the aspiring model.

"I have decided to be single to focus on my career," Brown told Us Weekly at the time. "I love Karrueche very much but I don't want to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna. I'd rather be single allowing us to both be happy in our lives."

The next day, Oct. 5, 2012, Brown released a video in which he admitted to feeling that he was in love with both Tran and Rihanna. In the end, Brown reunited with Rihanna and the pair began a relationship, which ended in May 2013.

Despite getting dumped by Brown in 2012, Tran remained in support of the singer and has been by his side throughout his recent legal ordeals, which include an assault case in Washington, D.C. and a possible probation violation stemming from his assault on Rihanna years ago.

After their breakup, Brown and Tran removed all photos of one another from their Instagram accounts.
