50 Shades of Grey screenwriter Kelly Marcel thinks Jamie Dornan deserves an Oscar for his adaptation of Christian Grey.

50 Shades of Grey has become a phenomenon in today's culture. Sure, the writing may not be totally on par, but the characters, the sex scenes... it is all tantalizingly addicting. So what do we expect from the movie? Well, absolutely the same thing... or at least that is what we are hoping for.

In a new interview, 50 Shades screenwriter Kelly Marcel revealed what was so memorable about Dornan's acting. "Apparently Jamie is great at being soft and hard at the same time, which is hard to do for an actor," Marcel told Us Weekly.

It is no surprise that the film is teetering over the expected R-rating, and Marcel spilled a few infamously sexual secrets from behind the scenes. One example stems from a memorable line from E.L. James' novel where Anastasia Steele, played by Dakota Johnson in the film adaptation, references to Grey's "popsicle."

"She says that, 'You are my popsicle.' That line went in, it's genius. They apparently did that scene great," Marcel said.

Whether Dornan gets his Oscar nomination or not, it is a complete understatement to say 50 Shades fans are anxiously waiting for the Feb. 2015 release date.

It could be next year's most hyped-up film.

50 Shades of Grey hits theaters on Valentine's Day, and everybody knows there is nothing more romantic than an S&M-fuled movie date. Eat your hearts out, ladies.
