Alicia DiMichele was hit with four years' probation after stealing from a union.

The former Mob Wives star was sentenced on Thursday in Brooklyn Federal Court for redirecting money from a trucking company owned by her Mafioso husband, Edward "Tall Guy" Garofalo, Jr.

DiMichele will not only receive her four years and a warning, but also has a few hefty fines to pay off. According to the Daily News, the 41-year-old agreed to pay $40,000 in restitution to the fund of Teamsters Local 282, in addition to thousands more from a pending lawsuit involving her husband's company.

"I knew my husband and his partners were doing something wrong and I helped them," she said, reading from a prepared statement. "This is not who I am and I can't even describe how embarrassed I am to be standing here today."

DiMichele was facing up to six months in prison under a plea agreement for the allegations, which stem back about 10 years. She got off lucky, however, when Judge Sandra Townes downgraded her punishment, telling her firmly, "I don't want to see you again."

It was a lucky break for the newly single mother.

"She is a loving mother," defense lawyer John Walenstein said. "She is a loving mother, and effectively a single mother because Mr. Garofalo is a guest of the government."

DiMichele resigned from VH1's Mob Wives reality show this past spring, where she reportedly racked in about $8,000 per episode. It looks like it may be time to focus on the family.
