Kristen Bell opened up about her second pregnancy during an appearance at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association's Installation Dinner.

While on the red carpet, Bell spoke to Us Weekly, revealing details about her pregnancy diet and what she's been craving.

"I gave up refined sugar a couple of months ago. And that keeps my cravings low," the 34-year-old star explained to the magazine. "I mean, I still crave food in general but I'm not like waking up with a starve, going, 'I need dark chocolate!'"

In 2010, after three years of dating, Bell became engaged to fellow actor Dax Shepard. Despite their engagement, Bell and Shepard made no plans to walk down the aisle, citing their desire to see the state of California legalize same-sex marriage as their reason for waiting.

In March 2013, Bell and Shepard welcomed their first child, daughter Lincoln Bell Shepard, and months later, on Oct. 17, 2013, the couple got married at the Beverly Hills County Clerk's Office. On June 23, 2014, Bell and Shepard announced they were expecting their second child.

As for how this pregnancy stacks up against her first, Bell doesn't see much difference.

"It's been exactly the same," she said. "Maybe five percent harder because I chase a toddler, but at the same time, it keeps me active. But yeah, it's been identical."

Since welcoming their first child, Bell and Shepard have been outspoken about their desire to keep Lincoln away from the public eye.

"Our daughter is not a public figure. We chose to be, we volunteered to be in this business and she did not," Bell explained to PEOPLE Magazine in Oct. 2013.
