Although the E! Network has yet to release an official statement in regard to the issue, a new report claimed staff fled Fashion Week, where they were set to film a Fashion Police special.

“We’re devastated. We’ve all been told the news and are heartbroken. It’s a huge loss for our team and the industry. It’s really just so sad,” a member of the Fashion Police staff told Life & Style on Sept. 4. "We've wrapped for the day. We don't know yet what will be in store the next couple days.”

'Fashion Police' Filming Canceled Following Joan Rivers' Hospitalization

After hearing the news of Rivers' passing, Osbourne took to Facebook, where she shared a heartfelt message about her Fashion Police co-star.

"I'm completely heartbroken by the loss of my beloved Joan," Osbourne wrote. "Not only was she my boss, she was and will always be my teacher, therapist, closest friend, inspiration and the only grandmother I ever knew."

On Thursday, after spending a week at an Upper East Side hospital, Rivers was taken off life support and died shortly therafter.

Last week, during what was supposed to be a routine throat surgery on her vocal cords, Rivers stopped breathing and went into cardiac arrest.

In the days that followed, Rivers' family remained hopeful. However, Rivers' daughter, Melissa Rivers, ultimately opted to take her mom off life support so she could pass away comfortably.
