On Thursday afternoon, after one week at an Upper East Side hospital, Rivers passed away with daughter, Melissa Rivers, at her side. The death came one week after a botched throat surgery resulted in the 81-year-old comedian going into cardiac arrest.

Despite her hospitalization, Osbourne took to Facebook on Thursday, where she shared a message with fans regarding the loss of Rivers.

"[Rivers] was family and I will never forget her," read a snippet of the message. "Laughter will be difficult for a while but when I'm sad, lonely or upset all I will have to do is think of Joan and a smile will cross my face. Laughter is what she gave us and laughter is what she would want us to do in remembrance of her."

Osbourne and Rivers have co-hosted Fashion Police since 2010.

Osbourne also shared a photo of herself and Rivers on Twitter, telling fans life would "never be the same" without her.
