Is A Cast Shakeup Coming To 'RHONY?'

Following The Real Housewives of New York City's sixth season, during which Drescher threw her artificial leg across a table, a source spoke out, claiming season six would be the last for the married mother of four.

"Aviva Drescher has been fired from The Real Housewives of New York City after two seasons on the show," a source confirmed to Us Weekly on Sept. 5.

Will Aviva Drescher Be Replaced On 'RHONY?'

Reports of Drescher's possible firing hit the web earlier this year, as new episodes of The Real Housewives of New York City began airing. During the season, Drescher mysteriously went missing from the Bravo reality show's opening credits and was absent during a couple of episodes. However, she eventually returned to the show and the rumors subsided.

At the time the rumors initially hit the web, a source told Radar Online that Bravo had grown tired of her antics and refusal to film certain scenes (including cast trips to The Berkshires and Montana) with the rest of the cast.

According to a second report by Us Weekly on Sept. 5, Ramona Singer is also losing her role of "official Housewife." However, Singer isn't leaving the show. Instead, she will reportedly take on a recurring role on season seven.

Last month, it was alleged that Andy Cohen wanted to keep Singer aboard, but only if she would agree to expose her marital troubles on the show.

No word yet on who will replace Drescher.
