Deena Nicole Cortese and her boyfriend recently opened up about their time on Couples Therapy and their plans for a family.

Cortese, formerly of MTV's Jersey Shore, and her boyfriend, Chris Bucker, are one of five couples appearing on the new season of Couples Therapy, and while they expected to dig deep within their relationship, they didn't realize just how intense things would get.

"[Dr. Jenn] tore us open, and gave us an entire new look at our situation," Cortese revealed during a Sept. 15 interview with Wetpaint Entertainment. "I opened up about things that I didn't open up about on Jersey Shore, because it wasn't the right environment, I didn't feel comfortable with it. We kinda had to work on ourselves, which we didn't even realize, to kind of become a stronger couple."

Cortese began dating Bucker during filming on the sixth and final season of Jersey Shore, and the pair have been together ever since. However, just like all couples, they've been faced with relationship issues. As a result, appearing on Couples Therapy, and following in the footsteps of their former co-stars, Jenni "JWoww" Farley and Roger Matthews, who appeared on the show earlier this year, sounded like a great idea.

Nowadays, Cortese and Buckner are in a great place and looking forward to their future together. In fact, they are currently looking to move in with one another -- and discussing the possibility of having a child.

"I see it!" Cortese said.

"We're going to move in first, and then a ring, and then a baby," Buckner added. "That's a good order."

Couples Therapy airs on VH1 every Wednesday night at 9 p.m.
