Kail Lowry recently addressed criticism of her public breastfeeding.

'Teen Mom 2' Will Return To MTV For Season Six

During one of her book tour appearances, the Teen Mom 2 star breastfed her 10-month-old son, Lincoln, but unfortunately, the feeding came with criticism. Although many fans applauded the multi-tasting mom, other slammed her for breastfeeding her son in front of fans.

“The people that were there were like, ‘Oh my God! Look at you. You’re a pro!’” Lowry told Life & Style on Sept. 19.

Then, after she arrived home, Lowry discovered several hateful messages from fans, and critics, online.

“They wrote, ‘Oh my God, that’s so disgusting. Why would you do that?’ I got a lot of heat for it," Lowry said. "But I’m feeding my kid. Who cares? I think it’s crazy and unbelievable that anyone would be offended by breastfeeding.”

Lowry welcomed her second child with husband Javi Marroquin in November of last year. The couple tied the knot in Sept. 2012, and celebrated their nuptials in a second ceremony in Sept. 2013.

Just this week, it was reported Lowry and the rest of the cast of Teen Mom 2 would be returning to MTV for a sixth season. According to a Sept. 17 report by Radar Online, MTV's producers "know the show is a success, and it’s not going anywhere."

Before filming begins on season six, Lowry and her co-stars will be getting a "much-deserved break" to "concentrate on their families.”
