Amber Portwood Feuds With Gary Over Comments Made In Her New Tell-All

On Monday's night's MTV special, Portwood, who starred on Teen Mom from 2009 to 2012, opened up about the status of her relationship with her four-year-old daughter's father.

“When I was in prison, Gary was telling me that we were going to be back together, and he was looking for a house for us, and selling me this big dream,” Portwood revealed during the show, according to an Oct. 7 report by Radar Online. “It was a couple of months before I got out that I found out that he was actually with somebody pretty much the whole time! So it was a huge shock.”

When Portwood entered prison in June 2012, Shirley was at her side, holding her hand as she walked into the facility. But while Portwood believed he'd be waiting for her at the time of her Nov. 2013 release, that wasn't the case.

Despite her disappointing love life, Portwood continued on with her life post-prison, writing a tell-all book and focusing on her daughter and her sobriety.

As for the mystery woman behind Shirley's cheating, Portwood claimed they were still together. “Honestly, they deserve each other,” she said. “You guys will see!”

Portwood, along with Shirley and the rest of her co-stars (Maci Bookout, Ryan Edwards, Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra), will return to MTV in 2015 for the fifth season of Teen Mom.
