In a new report, a source claimed ABC had passed on the opportunity to feature the former Bachelorette star and her fiance, Siegfried, in a made-for-TV wedding because Hartsock is reportedly too "boring."

“They told Des they’re not going to pay her anything,” a source claimed to In Touch Weekly on Oct. 15. “They’re not even going to put the wedding on TV!”

In the past, ABC has featured couples, including Trista and Ryan Sutter, Ashley and J.P. Rosenbaum, and Sean and Catherine Lowe, in televised weddings after they found love on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. However, after the Lowe's wedding failed to deliver in the ratings, ABC has soured on the idea -- especially when it comes to Hartsock.

“Des is just boring,” the source explained. “And plus, ratings for Sean and Catherine’s wedding weren't that great.”

That said, ABC isn't completely ruling out the idea of future televised weddings for their successful couples. In fact, according to the source, the network is already considering a televsied wedding for their latest Bachelorette star, Andi Dorfman, and her fiance, Josh Murray.

“They might change their mind on Andi because she and Josh are so popular,” the insider says. “But Des isn’t getting anything, and she’s pissed.”

Hartsock, a bridal stylist, and Siegfried became engaged during The Bachelorette season nine.
