'Teen Mom' Amber Portwood Claimed Gary Shirley Cheated On Her While She Was In Prison

According to a source, Portwood wasn't lying in her new tell all, Never Too Late, when she accused Shirley of sleeping around. Although Shirley recently denied cheating on Portwood, the source claims he was definitely unfaithful -- and made no secret of it publicly.

“Gary was parading Kristina all over town, and they even went on vacation together,” a source close to Portwood revealed to Radar Online on Oct. 20. “Meanwhile, Amber knew absolutely nothing about it. She was telling everyone that she was excited to be with Gary when she got out.”

After years of struggling with drug addiction, Portwood entered prison in June 2012. At the time, she explained that getting sober in a treatment facility, as she'd been ordered by the courts, simply wasn't possible.

When she turned herself in, Shirley was at Portwood's side. Unfortunately, things reportedly changed quickly once he returned home.

Although Portwood's friends were aware of Shirley's alleged infidelities, they didn't want to upset her, so they kept the news to themselves.

“I didn’t want to hurt her and make her more upset than she already was behind bars,” the friend explained. “I just told her to avoid Gary because their relationship was toxic.”

Meanwhile, things between Shirley and his girlfriend, Kristina Anderson, continued to heat up, and today, they are still together. In fact, according to reports, the pair will soon welcome their first child together.
