Last week, Kyle spoke to the UK's Daily Mail, claiming his father was a "snake," who shut him out of his child's life and "ruined" his three siblings with his toxic parenting. In response to the interview, Todd spoke out, explaining his son has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder.

"Kyle is bipolar and normally, people that are bipolar, they seek out a way to self-medicate, which is what Kyle has done since he's been young," Todd told E! News. "I want what's best for him."

Todd insisted to E! News that his son's claims were made out of anger, and that there were many untruths stated. One particular claim that upset him the most was the allegation that Kyle's daughter, Chloe, was on his family's reality show, Chrisley Knows Best, because she's a mixed-race child, which "would be good for his demographic."

Todd also denied kicking his son of the program, claiming it was Kyle's behavior, which made him impossible to work with.

"I didn't kick Kyle off the show," he said. "He refused to take his medication. He was hostile to the crew. He was hostile to other people on the show and you can't have that."

In closing, Todd expressed his concern for Kyle. "I want what's best for him and I will get him the help he needs once we locate him," he said.

Chrisley Knows Best airs on Tuesday nights at 10 p.m. on USA Network.
