According to a new report, VH1 has fired the engaged couple ahead of the upcoming fourth season, and they feel that they are being used as "scapegoats."

"The couple was given the boot Wednesday AM ... with no explanation," TMZ reported on Oct. 29.

Mimi Faust Defends Benzino After Reunion Fight With Her Ex Stevie J, He Had His "Best Interests at Heart"

Following a massive reunion fight, Althea sued Joseline Hernandez, claiming she used crack during filming and started the brawl after being called out for her drug use. Although Althea reportedly lost the fight, producers allegedly went against Althea and the other cast members, who wanted Joseline fired, and sided with Joseline.

Several cast members were involved in the reunion fight, including Althea, Stevie J, Joseline, Debra, Tammy and Mimi. In a second report by TMZ, sources revealed, "Karlie Redd was knocked out ... several others suffered bloody cuts ... and somebody threw a bottle at Momma Dee, hitting her in the face."

One month after the fight, Althea's suit was filed. In it, the reality star claimed Joseline was smoking crack out of a pipe before she punched her in a drugged out stupor, dragging her to the ground, hitting her and scratching her.

"Benzino says it's obvious he and Althea are being blamed for the fight between them and castmates Joseline Hernandez and Stevie J ... a brawl that proved irresistible for other cast members," the site reported.
