Miley Cyrus not allowed to mingle with Patrick Schwarzenegger’s family

Miley Cyrus' Christmas won't be as merry this year as rumors are spreading that she has been banned by her current boyfriend's mom, Maria Shriver to join him in any upcoming Kennedy family Christmas event.

The former Mrs. Schwarzenegger was said to have been never a fan of the "Wrecking Ball" singer. The 22-year-old singer has been dating Arnold Schwarzenegger's son, Patrick, for a few months now. The couple were both seen getting cozy and displaying PDA all over town recently.

According to a source, "Shriver has made it quite clear that Cyrus is not welcome to their house this Christmas. The Kennedy family is not in very high spirits as Shriver has banned the 22-year-old [from celebrating] Christmas with them - much to her son's frustration."

The source added, "She doesn't think it's appropriate to have Miley around the rest of the Kennedy family," according to The Inquisitr.

Because Cyrus has always been reported to be very controversial, Shriver is worried that the singer is a bad influence to her son.

Cyrus wasn't able to attend the 13th birthday celebration of Patrick's sister as she is not welcome and her presence is not expected, said the source. Patrick is very close to his sister and is not going to go against what she asks, especially on her birthday. The source added that Patrick's family is hoping that he will come to his senses and will realize that Cyrus does not fit into his world.

While Cyrus' love life is not getting any better, her career might be, as she was recently nominated for the first time in the upcoming Grammy Awards. She was nominated in the Best Pop Album category for her Bangerz album, alongside Coldplay, Ariana Grande, Katy Perry, Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith.
