'NCIS: New Orleans' CBS Season 1:Episode 13 Returns With a New Case Involving a Navy Officer Who Asks for Help After He’s Been Turned Into a Walking Dead

CBS new show NCIS: New Orleans Season 1 upcoming 13th episode airs Tuesday, February 3, at its regular 9:00-10:00 pm time slot is entitled "The Walking Dead." Directed by Ed Ornelas from a script written by David Appelbaum, the next installment in the police and military procedural drama will follow the story of a Navy lieutenant commander in impeccable shape who turns to Pride and the NCIS team to solve his imminent murder after discovering he has been poisoned with a lethal dose of radiation.

An NCIS spin-off, NCIS: New Orleans is focused on the unit's local field office that investigates criminal cases affecting military personnel in New Orleans, the Big Easy, a city known for its music, entertainment and decadence. Leading the team is Scott Bakula's Special Agent Dwayne 'King' Pride, a native of the area who is driven by his need to do what is right. Working with him is Lucas Black's Special Agent Christopher LaSalle, who plays hard but works harder, and Zoe McLelland's Special Agent Meredith 'Merri' Brody, a charismatic and tough interrogator who transferred from the Great Lakes office in search of a fresh start. Supporting them is coroner C.C.H. Pounder's Dr. Loretta Wade, who is as eccentric as she is smart. Rob Kerkovich's Sebastian Lund helps as her tech-savvy lab assistant and forensic scientist.

The guest cast for "The Walking Dead" episode are Diane Neal as Coast Guard Investigative Service Agent Abigail Borin, BD Wong as Navy Lieutenant Commander Dr. Gabriel Lin, Russell Wong as Cam Lin, Anne Dudek as Dawn Lin, Eyal Podell as Doctor Samuel Wilkins, Robert Walker-Branchaud as Dave Maldonado, Ryan Broussard as Michael Buonomo, Michael Shane Hughes as Dominick Cole, and Carlos Zarate as Training Partner Kieran Mike.

On January 12, 2015, NCIS: New Orleans was renewed for a second season. According to the network, the show ranks as the season's No. 1 new series among total viewers with its estimated 18.1 million average viewership.
