Kim Kardashian’s Neutered Dog Rocky and Her Late Cat Mercy

Kim Kardashian is now busy being doting mother to North West, her 19-month old daughter with Kanye West. But before she had a baby of her own, Kim used to dot a lot on her pampered pets, Rocky and Mercy.

Back in 2010, Kim called her dog Rocky, a boxer, her "new bff." She said on her blog: "I swear I am so in love with Rocky you guys have no idea! I never thought I could love a dog as much as I love Rocky! When Reggie [Bush] is at work, we totally take naps together (he usually isn't allowed in the bed), we go on walks and he is totally my new bff!"

Eventually however, Rocky had to be neutered because neighbors have complaing about his prowling at night in search of suitable mates. Kim herself made the decision on the size of the neuticles, the cosmetic testicular implants, to be fitted on her dog according to Plastic Celebrity. She chose a smaller pair, because said the site, Kim stated that she doesn't like big balls on dogs, or anything else.

In 2013, Kim was gifted with a white Teacup Persian kitten by her then boyfriend Kanye West which she named Mercy. However, she later confessed on the Keeping Up with the Kardashians TV show, "I had no idea that kittens weren't just already trained to go in the litter box. Anything messy just freaks me out." She also found out that she's allergic to cats so she gave away Mercy to her sister Khloe's assistant. The cat however contracted a fatal cancer-like virus and had to be euthanized. On her blog, she told her fans: "It is with deep sadness that I have to tell you all that my kitten, Mercy, has passed away. My heart is completely broken. It broke not only my heart that little Mercy died at only four months old, but Sydney's [Khloe's assistant] too. Mercy was a gentle and loving kitten and we are all going to miss her so much."
