Samsung has always been a top competitor in the market for electronics and gadgets. And now the South Korean multinational is ready to add another gem in its famous treasure of phablets, Samsung Galaxy Note 5.

Although the last model in the Note series, Galaxy Note 4 was released recently, rumors are that Note 5 will be released to hit the retailer's shelves pretty soon. The first phone in the Note series, with a screen size of 5.3 inches was released back in 2011. The phone was ridiculed by many and made fun due to its large screen size. However, the screen length has grown since then and there's no looking back for Samsung. The popular phablets have been much appreciated and accepted by its strong base of fans.

With Android 5.0 Lollipop, the 5.9-inch Galaxy Note 5 is rumored to have a 3840 x 2160 pixel Ultra High Definition 4K quality display, a feature that no other smartphone has ever had. In addition, the quality improvement in the oversized smartphone has been reportedly paired up with size bumps. Reportedly, the screen size will boast the comprehensive image density to 746 ppi. The phone is expected to possess 4GB of RAM and an expandable memory up to 128GB. A micro SD slot has also been provided for extra external storage options.

According to the sources, the release date for the Galaxy Note 5 is expected to be somewhere in the third quarter of 2015. Reportedly, the all-new smartphone would be unveiled on September 2, 2015. That means that the Note series lovers will be able to see the phone in stores in October. However, it ought to be mentioned that no official announcement has been made by Samsung.
