This is the tech news everyone has been waiting for since a long time. Microsoft will be releasing its new package of software later this year, according to a report. The formal date has not been announced it but expect to get the update anytime now.

Microsoft's Office general manager, Julia White has recently blogged that Microsoft Office 2016 will certainly be released later this year, if not earlier.

Microsoft Office 2016 will soon be available for all Windows users to use in their systems. The officials at Microsoft have said that the look and feel of Office 2016 will be pretty much similar as Office 2013, but they will make significant changes in the overall user interface and also the themes. And guess who is going to make a comeback in this release? The Clippy-like helper! That is right, the cute helper which looks like a paper clip and offers his help every now and then will be back in Microsoft Office 2016.

Office 2016 will be touch friendly and will be supported by Windows 10. The consumer version of Windows 10 was recently unveiled and it showed the new web browser, the version of Windows 10 for smartphones and tabs, and also a glimpse in the touch based version of Microsoft Office. A product called HoloLens was also showed to the audience at this conference.

All the 5 MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, One Note and Outlook) will see a new avatar in themselves. We will have to wait and see how good these applications look and how great is the new Office UI.
