Peter Gunz Still loves Tara Wallace, Will Divorce Amina Buddafly

Peter Gunz still loves Tara Wallace, his co-star in the hit reality TV series Love and Hip Hop: New York. In fact, they were regularly seen as a couple for 13 years and have two sons together. But Peter never married Tara. Instead, he cheated on her and secretly tied the knot with another member of the cast, Amina Buddafly, with whom he now has a daughter. Of course, both women eventually came to learn about Peter's infidelity, and on the reality TV show at that.

Peter has since then owned up to the error of his ways. In an interview with VladTV [via Sister2Sister], he said: "I'm disgusted by my behavior on the show. Sometimes you think the life you're living is normal, and it's not until you look at yourself in the mirror sometimes and say, 'Damn, that's f*cked up." Peter, according to Peter Pankey, still loves Tara and he continues to take care of her rent and to financially support his children by her. Peter has publicly apologized to both Tara and Amina for his infidelity. In an interview with Madame Noire, he also said: "I sold out people I love, blindsided them on national TV and that will never happen again."

As for Amina, she confirmed in a talk with VladTV that she and Peter are "in a strange place" at the moment. She also revealed that she and Tara "are cordial and working on being nice to one another." In the interview with the hip hop video news site, she said: "As people know, things have been crazy and have not been very good for me and him and we are definitely in a weird place. We did move in together and I did give it another shot, you know, I love him. I just have to say that. I didn't go into it thinking 'OK everything's all good now.' Because people think I was that stupid. No, I know what I was getting into, but as of right now we're in a weird place."

For now however, both Amina and Tara have decided to put all the drama on hold. They agreed with their cheating Peter to bringing his two families together, at least for the sake of their hit reality TV series. According to Media Take Out, Tara agreed to bring her two sons to meet up with Amina and her newborn daughter Corie on the upcoming episode of VH1's Love & Hip Hop: New York. According to the website, there is "a scene where Peter got down on one knee and proposed to Tara. Tara broke down in tears and said yes." But what about Amina with whom Peter is already married? The site also writes: "Amina is NO LONGER INTERESTED in Peter's f*ckery, and so she DUMPED HIM. Amina's matured a lot since having the baby - and wants to raise her child in a healthy nurturing environment. No hard feelings, and she's happy to co-parent with Peter and maybe even let him SMASH every now and again . . . but she is NOT INTERESTED IN BEING MARRIED TO HIM. Long story short - Amina was like YOU CAN HAVE HIM."
