Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson will return to the Studio 8H stage for his fourth hosting stint on Saturday Night Live March 28, in time to invite the audience to the opening of his latest action flick Furious 7. For the musical performance segment, his guest will be 21-year-old British singer-songwriter George Ezra, best known for his hit song "Budapest" from his debut studio album "Wanted on Voyage."

Johnson, 42, last hosted for the show in 2009. Currently, Alec Baldwin is the record holder for most number of shows hosted with sixteen, followed by Steve Martin with fifteen. A featured host typically delivers the opening monologue as well as joins in the performance of scripted sketches with the regular cast. Traditionally, the host of the show ends the opening monologue by introducing the musical guest for the evening. The host also delivers the show's closing remarks.

Presently, the regular Saturday Night Live cast regulars include Vanessa Bayer, Bobby Moynihan, Aidy Bryant, Jay Pharoah, Taran Killam, Cecily Strong, Kate McKinnon, Kennan Thompson, Beck Bennet, Colin Jost, Michael Che, Kyle Mooney, Pete Davidson, Shasheer Zamata, and Lesliee Jones. Notable ex-cast members who have made a name for themselves include Seth Mayers, Kristen Wiig, Andy Samberg, Maya Rudolph, Chris Parnell, Tracy Morgan, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Will Forte, Chris Rock, Amy Poeler, Tina Fey, Jason Sudeikis, Mike Myers, Adam Sandler, Joe, Piscopo, Eddie Murphy, and many more.

Last week's edition of Saturday Night Live was hosted by Chris Hemsworth and it delivered strong ratings, drawing in a 4.0 averaged household rating in the metered markets and a 2.0 among adults 18-49 in the markets with Local People Meters according to Deadline.

After his stint with Saturday Night Live, Johnson will next be seen on the big-screen co-starring with Vin Diesel in the highly anticipated Furious 7, which hits theaters April 3, followed by his next action-adventure disaster-themed movie San Andreas on May 29.
