The CW's Arrow Season 3's 17th episode is entitled "Suicidal Tendencies" and it airs on Wednesday, March 25, at its appointed 8:00-9:00 pm time slot. Directed by Jesse Warn from a script written by Keto Shimizu, the network's official synopsis says that Diggle (David Ramsey) and Lyla (guest star Audrey Marie Anderson) finally get to marry, but their celebration is cut short when Deadshot (guest star Michael Rowe) drops in on their honeymoon and tells them they are needed. Their Suicide Squad has just been given a new mission - to rescue United States Senator Joseph Cray (guest star Steven Culp) from a hostage situation in the fictional Republic of Kasnia.

Amanda Waller (guest star Cynthia Addai-Robinson) breaks down the mission for the team and introduces them to Cupid (guest star Amy Gumenick), the newest member of the Suicide Squad. In the closing moments of episode 7, titled "Draw Back Your Bow," it may be recalled that Cupid was remanded to ARGUS's custody following her killing spree in Starling City. Being mentally ill, she really can't be faulted for her actions, and Oliver thinks that she can still do some good. Back then, he told Diggle that being around others rather than in a prison cell alone may even help her too. Cupid when last seen was still obsessively in love with the Arrow.

Also in next week's episode, Oliver learns about Ray's (Brandon Routh) new Atom costume and the two have a heated stand-off. As shown in the episode's extended promo trailer, Ray too gets to find out that Oliver Queen is the Arrow, and it looks like he's going after him. In the closing moments of last week's show, titled "The Offer," it may be recalled that Ra's al Ghul, dressed up as the Arrow, had began killing people. He wants to force Oliver into taking his place as head of the League of Assassins. Atom, being the city's newest vigilante, may have been tricked into believing that Arrow had gone back to his old ways as a killer. Consequently, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and Ray hit a rough patch.
