James Bond is back with Paramount's upcoming Spectre. Now here is a look at the first full extended trailer of the 24th film in the James Bond franchise, starring Daniel Craig.

The word "anticipated" is as overused in showbiz as "superstar" is in sports, but this is the follow-up to 007's most lucrative adventure. The 2012 film Skyfall became Sony's biggest film ever, the UK's highest grosser and No. 9 on the all-time list with $1.11B worldwide. In fact, the flick helped Sony turn an annual profit for the first time in five years.

According to Deadline, the trailer that just dropped via 007.com reveals something a bit different: Daniel Craig's tenure as Bond is shaping up to be the most continuity-heavy in franchise history. Drawing together the threads left hanging from Casino Royal andQuantum of Solace, and tying them to the events of Skyfall. Jesper Christensen's Mr. White reappears, now in MI6 custody, as Bond's introduction to the SPECTRE organization. The terrorist group hasn't appeared in an official Bond film since Sean Connery last possessed the license to kill. This time out, it's headed by Christoph Waltz's Franz Oberhauser, seen here in the shadows, but the unhinged-but-cool demeanor be brought to Inglorious Basterds is unmistakable.

Armed with a script by John Logan and Neal Purvis & Robert Wade, director Sam Mendes is back for another go. Reports surfaced a couple of years ago that he wouldn't helm this one, but that silliness was squelched a few months later. Also returning are Rory Kinnear as Tanner, Ben Whishaw as Q, Naomie Harris as Moneypenny and Ralph Fiennes as the new M. Fresh blood is being pumped into the 53-year-old franchise via Waltz, Andrew Scott, Dave Bautista, Monica Bellucci and Léa Seydoux.
