Fresh from their recent split over bandmate Zayn Malik's farewell to the group, One Direction continues to conquer the hearts of their supporters all over the world. Before taking a long break, the hottest boy band joined James Corden in a Carpool Karaoke for "The Late Late Show with James Corden".

In August of this year, 1D members confirmed their "well-earned break" starting March 2016. In a recent interview with Alan Carr in "Chatty Man" on Thursday, the chart-topping group talked about the main reason behind their upcoming hiatus. Although it may take a long time, the members consistently remind the fans that this would only be a break and not the end for 1D.

Fans continue to wish that this will not be the beginning of the end like how other celebrity groups ended. However, 'Directioners' understand that after a continuous five years of making them happy, One Direction members deserve their long wanted alone time.

Now a foursome group, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson got into a car with the host, and a close friend of the band members, Corden, and drove the streets of Los Angeles for a carpool karaoke session. In this episode, 1D and Corden danced and sang the boy band's hit songs, "What Makes You Beautiful", "Story of My Life", "Best Song Ever", "Drag Me Down", and "Perfect".

They also sang "No Control" that, according to Billboard, ranked no. 1 on Twitter Top Tracks chart and their's. This song from the album, "Four" made multiple entries at this year's top spots in various hit charts all over the globe.

In the show, James Corden handed out his four passengers each a denim costume. This, according to Corden, follows a boy band stereotype that has matching outfits and dance to a choreo.

Currently, this generation's most beloved British pop group is on an indefinite break following their "On The Road Again Tour" and release of their fifth album, "Made in the A.M." Fans are still hoping they get back together as soon as they can after this episode.
