It has been a sizzling, controversial night in Las Vegas, Nevada where the coronation ceremony for the Miss Universe 2015 was held. A group of 80 gorgeous ladies were cut down to a list of 5. The finalists are from the USA, Australia, Philippines, Colombia, and France.

A full, detailed report on this event was immediately reported on Daily Mail. A photo series was also shown featuring the most controversial moments that occurred in the pageant. TMZ then talked about how Harvey "botched" the stint he did in the Miss Universe and called him the "most hated man in Colombia" for it.

But, as the aspiring title holders were trimmed down to three, a huge mistake was made at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino right after the name of the new Miss Universe was revealed. "Family Feud" TV host, Steve Harvey, called out Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez as Miss Universe 2015 and Miss Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach as First Runner Up.

After a good 2 minutes and Miss Colombia's victory walk have passed, an obviously shamefaced Harvey stunned the crowd in his shocking clarification. "Okay folks," Harvey started, "I have to apologize." Through waving the results card, the comedic host retracted his recent announcement and told the crowd that Miss Colombia was, in fact, the First Runner Up and Miss Philippines was the real Miss Universe 2015 winner.

A shock-stricken Miss Philippines was in utter disbelief with the sudden change of events. With her hand on her mouth, this year's Miss Universe winner walked all the way back to the front stage and wait patiently for Miss Colombia to hand her the crown. On to the rescue, a comforting Miss Universe 2014 Paulina Vega gave her co-Colombian a pat on the back and helped her pass the $30,000 crown to its rightful owner, Miss Philippines.

An apologetic Harvey delivered his heartfelt regrets for a mistake he just did, "I will take responsibility for this, it was my mistake." As the pageant's host continuously reiterates his mistake, he pleads on to the audience to not "hold it against the ladies."

Harvey takes on to his social media accounts the acknowledgement of what he called a "horrible mistake". He posted a sincere public apology in Facebook:

Hey Everyone, I made a terrible mistake tonight in announcing the wrong winner and runner-up for the Miss Universe...

The Miss Philippines' fans while caught in the middle of disappointed and triumphant, were all asking, "what happened to Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach's victory walk and crowing moment?" The Miss Universe 2015 production was forced to cut the program short to make amends with the committed error privately.
