Hollywood star and NFL player have been together for a year now and were rumoured to be already engaged. The Internet hosts numerous news that Olivia Munn's mom texted her daughter to verify the real score.

Munn decided to post the funny exchange of messages with her mom to put down the rumours. The actress' mom immediately believed the things she heard from the Internet about her daughter and the "Green Bay Packers" quarterback.

Since there are rumours circulating that they are now engaged, the "Ironman 2" actress decided to confirm the news herself. Munn said it is not true and advised her mom not to believe everything that is on the Internet.

After the exchange of messages, Munn decided to post a screenshot of their funny conversation on Instagram. She was also thinking that this will put down all the rumours about her and Rodgers' engagement, People reported.

"Oh man you engagement?? You know we love Aaron," her mom said. "Hey why don't you tell me first?" she added.

Munn responded, "Oh my gosh Mom no. You know you shouldn't believe gossip on the Internet. If I was engaged, I promise you'd be like the 8th person to know. Maybe 9th. But definitely way before the Internet."

Munn then added on her Instagram post that most of the time when somebody replies a no comment, it is always interpreted as a yes. So instead of her answering the rumours, the post concluded it.

"Mortdecai" actress is expecting that she will be repeatedly asked by the press about this engagement rumour for the next couple of days. So that will do the trick.

Munn has been named Maxim's "Hot 100 Women" for the sixth consecutive time and did not even know Rodgers until they met personally. It was also rumoured that the couple will get married in Chico, California, which is Rodgers' hometown, Sporting News reported.

Meanwhile, Rodgers' team has been seesawing with its stats this season, and Munn was even said to be partly blamed for it. While many are still insisting that the rumours are true, Rodgers is still confident that he can help his team achieve second chance at the Super Bowl.
