Whispers and speculations about the "Outlander" season 3 actor expecting his first baby with alleged real-life girlfriend, Mackenzie Mauzy, first broke when his co-star congratulated him about the baby news. Although Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe have yet to update the status of their relationship, a new report claimed that the rumored couple may have already headed to Splitsville.

Daily Record reported that "Outlander" season 3 co-stars, Sam Heughan (James "Jamie" Mackenzie Fraser) and Steven Cree (Ian Murray) had a hilarious Twitter exchange after the former saw a mistake from an article. Cree had just celebrated his 37th birthday, but according to the article, the actor is already 40 years old.

Sam Heughan didn't let this past and tweeted the false information and captioning it, "I think this may be one of my proudest moments..." then adding the hashtags, "#birthdayboy #birthdayOldMan." Steven Cree then replied to Caitriona Balfe leading man by putting a hashtag of his real age and fired back by congratulating him for being a new daddy.

"It’s all I deserve after ‘Heughan Talks’. You are literally adding years to me. #IAM37. Congrats on the big news by the way! So happy for you," Steven Cree posted.This post started all the rumors that Sam Heughan and Mackenzie Mauzy may actually be expecting their first baby together. However, everything was just a funny exchange by two friends who are trying to embarrass each other.

While everyone else is still fighting over if either Caitrona Balfe or Mackenzie Mauzy is best for Sam Heughan, it seems like the actor has already got his hands full with Steven Cree. Their bromance is definitely fun to watch which is a long departure from the serious and heavy scenes of "Outlander" season 3. The hilarious exchange didn't end there.
