After bagging the Best Actress award at the recently concluded Oscars, Emma Stone opened up about one thing that she prizes more than her well-deserved golden statue- motherhood in the future. The actress shared her sentiments over wanting to become a mom someday. Such statements have further sparked dating rumors between Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield, her former co-star and boyfriend.

While there have been no mentions of a possible reunion between Emma and Andrew, the 28-year-old actress focused on the role that her family plays for her, Thinking about starting her own family makes her “honestly flush” as spoke openly about her future goals in becoming a parent someday. “[I want to] have a family. It makes me honestly flush because it feels like such a vulnerable thing to say,” she said in an interview with Mirror’s Sunday People. “It’s such a crazy, incredible thing. I mean how wild to have children and a family.”

Despite unceasing dating rumors surrounding Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield, the family remains the top priority for the “La La Land” actress; she even took her brother Spencer as her companion to the Oscars. Her family also helps her in remaining humble and grounded, as reported by The Sun. “They would be able to kick me in the shins if I ever for one minute got lost up in the clouds,” she said.

For more than three years, “The Amazing Spider-Man" co-stars Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield dated but the couple called it quits in 2015, with the news sadly received by fans worldwide. However, Stone and Garfield’s dating rumors were ignited once more after the 33-year-old actor was seen gazing admiringly at the actress when she took to the Academy Awards stage and shared her Oscars acceptance speech.

Although Garfield did not bag the Best Actor award for the Mel Gibson-directed movie “Hacksaw Ridge,” he was caught on camera looking emotional as Stone took in the Best Actress Award for playing the role of Mia in the critically-acclaimed musical. While Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield’s dating rumors have been on the rise due to the actor’s affectionate scene at the Oscars, the two have not gotten back together but remain good friends.
