Emma Watson is One of The Latest Victims of 'The Fappening'

Emma Watson is one of the latest victims of personal photos that was leaked online. She has taken legal action with the stolen photo.

Her representative released the statement regarding the leaked photo as quoted by CNN. Watson has taken legal action in respond to her stolen photos that leaked online.

"Photos from a clothes fitting Emma had with a stylist a couple of years ago have been stolen," the statement for Watson's representative read. The statement further declared that those photos are not the nude photographs, "Lawyers have been instructed and we are not commenting further."

Prior to the leaked photos, Watson has once spoken about an anonymous thereat to disclose her private nude photos in 2015. The threat came after the first incident of the August 2014 massive leaked of hundreds of celebrities photos and videos. The photos and videos were obtained after the perpetrator gained access by hacking into the Apple cloud storage infrastructure iCloud, dubbed as "The Fappening."

Watson dismissed the threat, because she knows such photos did not exist. However, earlier this week, her photos and other celebrities including Amanda Seyfried and Mischa Barton leaked online as reported by Daily Telegraph.

The leaked photos were circulated in the dark web, an encrypted network that allow its users to posted message without disclosing ther identities. Social media went crazy after the leaked photos were circulated. Many users tweeted, claiming that they have seen the pictures of Seyfried, Watson and Barton.

This incident is nicknamed as "The Fappening 2.0" indicating the second series of the leaked private photos of celebrities. Watson who gained her fame through "Harry Potter" movies has been one of the latest victim of the leaked photo incident. In respond to that, her legal team has prepared to take legal action for the invasion of her privacy.
