"The Walking Dead" has reached its climax with the final war of the season. In the episode before the finale, the makers have indicated that the season is going to be the massive one.

"The Walking Dead" season 7's latest episode featured an epic battle between Andrew Lincoln a.k.a. Rick and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, a.k.a. Negan. This is the first time when the armies representing the forces from the two parties have been found looming since the last battle that took place between Glenn and Abraham.

The executive producer of the AMC zombie thriller, Scott Gimple, has tried to provide fans a glimpse of what can be expected from "The Walking Dead" finale. "The season finale will be a conclusion that promises an epic story ahead. It's about setting up season eight but also beyond," the executive director said as quoted by News.com.au.

Sonequa Martin-Green a.k.a Sasha, Christian Serratos a.k.a. Rosita and Norman Reedus a.k.a. Daryl seem to come together to make sure Negan is defeated, E Online mentioned. The failure of Negan is what Sasha wishes to witness to avenge the death of Abe. While Rick has a group to unite to battle against Negan, there is someone who is all set to favor the villain of the current season of the "The Walking Dead."

Josh McDermitt portrays the character of Eugene and he is believed to collaborate with Negan. "I don't feel like he's playing a game. I think he's trying to protect himself," McDermitt said. "Eugene is scared and a lot of it comes from Negan so he's out looking for himself. And why not align yourself with the person who gives him the most fear? That's how I see it."

"The Walking Dead" graphic novel's creator Robert Kirkman expressed his doubts over proper analysis of Negan's character. He said that he had conflicting feelings about his negative character. Kirkman added that one of the most impressive things about Negan's character is the negative actions he takes against those who loved by audiences. He said that his character is quite "likable" and "personable."
