In the latest interview about the upcoming season, Tetsuro Araki -- the chief director and opening storyboard artist -- provides interesting details about the new Titans and Eren's new power. After almost four years of hiatus, the creative team developed the skills to deliver an improved animation and thrilling storyline.

The new director of "Attack on Titan" season 2 Tetsuro Araki shared that the script and other aspects of the production process were improved in the four-year hiatus of the series. For one, he confirms that Krista and Ymire will take the limelight in the upcoming season according to Comicbook. In fact, he said that the two characters will be "in the eye of the storm." The two characters will be vital in unfolding the truth about the Titans. Avid followers should know that Ymir is actually a shape-shifter while Krista is a royal lineage of the Founding Titan.

A compilation of the first season will be shown from march 27 to 29 in 19 selected cinemas across the United States. This is to better understand the story of the manga series. "Attack on Titan" season 2 will be released on April 1.
