Gwendoline Christie is making a comeback in the upcoming film "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" as Captain Phasma and it was revealed that she might use a new weapon. Fans have been wondering whether the weapon she will use in the film would be something ornamental.

It can be recalled that Captain Phasma was given an impressive gun as her weapon in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." However, the film did not showcase her using that weapon. An insider told Making Star Wars that everyone will be amazed with her weapon in "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" although there were no further details disclosed. "You are going to love Captain Phasma's spear in The Last Jedi. She looks killer," the source said.

The insider was then asked whether it's a spear or sphere and answered that it's a weapon, a staff. As the commander of the First Order's storm troopers, Captain Phasma is expected to take action on the First Order dissenters and it only makes sense for her to have a new weapon in "Star Wars: The Last Jedi." According to Comic Book, Captain Phasma was one of the highly anticipated characters in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" but it was a disappointment that she barely had much lines in the film.

With the upcoming "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" film, fans are hoping that Captain Phasma will make the most of the film especially now that it has been teased that she will have a new weapon. Moreover, it is known that she is close to Snoke as well as the First Order and she has also been in action with Kylo Ren. Therefore, it could mean that she will use the new weapon to defeat the Resistance Force or it might also be used for her First Order duties and rituals.

Gwendoline Christie is also famous for her role as Brienne of Tarth in "Game of Thrones" and has been equipped with an impressive weapon in the form of Oathkeeper. Fans are looking forward to see her in the big screen when "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" hits cinemas on Dec. 15.
