"Hunter x Hunter" Chapter 361 is still on hiatus and hopefully, the new "Monster Hunter" XX collaboration keeps the hype over the manga. Reportedly, the latest release of "Monster Hunter XX" on Nintendo 3DS carries the fan-favorite Gon. Even if this collaboration with Capcom could delight readers of the hit manga, an update about the development of the next installment will be highly appreciated. However, creator Yoshihiro Togashi not given significant details about the story up to this date.

"Monster Hunter" XX sees Gon in its new collaboration according to a report by Kotaku. Every fan will notice the character's long black iconic hair and huge sword in the trailer as he takes his journey in a forest where he meets wild animals. Fans who have been waiting for "Hunter x Hunter" Chapter 361 could give it a try while waiting for the manga's release.

Meanwhile, there's no news yet on when Weekly Shonen Jump will release "Hunter x Hunter" Chapter 361. This apparently sparked speculations that the magazine will be extending the project to other artists such as Togashi's wife Naoko Takeuchi. However, the news was not confirmed by Weekly Shonen Jump nor Togashi and his wife.

For this reason, fans are left to wonder what would happen now that the team behind the manga has been silent about its return. This also led some fans to question if Weekly Shonen Jump will just cancel "Hunter x Hunter" Chapter 361 due to Togashi's absence. But given the popularity of the story, readers might not be happy if the series will just end with no definite finale. So hopefully, all these will be sorted out by the magazine and Togashi.

"Hunter x Hunter" Chapter 361 release date, according to Comicbook, might be scheduled in late 2017. That is if Togashi will finally decide to work on the manga again. That said, fans are advised to take speculations with skepticism until Weekly Shonen Jump or Togashi release a final statement.
